La Rosière is a high altitude resort in the Tarentaise valley in the French Alps. Close to the world-class resorts of Val d'Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Plagne, La Rosière is where Snowcrazy began with their first ski chalet in the winter of 2005. During the summer months La Rosière is a stunning place to be with an amazing variety of wild flowers and high temperatures. The resort is open from the beginning of July to the end of August, there is an ATM to withdraw cash should you need it and a couple of bars which hold events and live music which you are welcome to enjoy after dinner. White Water Rafting is available until the end of September. If the weather is not good enough for rafting, we usually propose a mountain hike so you can enjoy the amazing views and fresh air. The snow usually arrives around November when the White Water Rafting is definitely over and the snowball fights take over! La Rosière is linked to La Thuile over the border in Italy. If we can, we will take you up to the pass (the border with Italy) for a class and a wonderful Italian hot chocolate.
